I came here for breakfast. The food for Disney standards is very good quality although by no means is this a fancy place. We were here at a non-busy time and had to wait about 20 minutes to get our food. I can't imagine how long you wait in the evening when Downtown Disney is packed. That being said I would definitely eat here again provided it was not too crowded as the food quality was better than a lot of Disney restaurants. I had the french toast which had corn flakes and bacon and was good. My son had the chocolate chip Belgian waffles which were also good. My husband and other son just had standard bagel with cream cheese. I can say if I were having lunch or dinner I would choose Cooke's of Dublin over this place because it had much better quality of food but, overall this place was good.

We went express and ordered 3 pizzas. They all were bland. I got the spicy chicken which was neither tasty nor spicy. Their idea of spicy was dried pepper out of a jar. It also called for leeks on the description but I couldn't find any. Very disappointed - Disney fast food in the parks is way better

Spent 35 Days training here back in the day. Love the Chinos Salas and Bagel French Toast, along with the Breakfast Pizza! Good times working with Wonderful People! It is what it is people...good food, quick service, and located in Downtown Disney (The Rat) as the locals say.

Good grief. How can Wolfgang even keep his name on this place. I am sure he is making a pretty penny out of the standing order he has from the Disney Empire (this is one of the many eateries in the Disney all-inclusive meal plan), but I would wager that he is losing money from the way that this plan damages his diminishing reputation. The place is a limited-menu, fast food joint ith dining at outdoor (aleit shaded) shared picnic tables. The place was a diaster when we went there - trash everywhere on the floor, tables, spilling out of trash cans. So much so, that we just moved on. Ugh.

I think J Y W may have been writing about the full blown Puck Cafe on the Westside of Downtown. I ate at the Puck Express. Linguine with chicken was not good. Waste of money. The rotisserie half-chicken w/ mash on the other hand cost the same amount and was good. More worth the money. I'd have to say though, no wow factor there. Kind of disappointing. Maybe because it was "Express" and not the real deal...?

I am a food service professional. I just dined at wolfgang puck express in downtown Disney. When we first walked in the door and were greeted right away. This a was a step on the right foot. We placed our order and took our seats. We ordered the veggie sandwhich, veggie pizza, and chinois chicken salad. I was excited to see a wood burning pizza oven which is a great feature. When we recieved our food it was apparent to me the chinois chicken salad was obviously slaw mix that comes in a bag. This was hugely dissapointing based on the reputation. Also the dressing on this salad had raw ginger which is a complete turn off. Other than that the sandwhich and pizza where mediocre at best. The service was absolutely terrible with the server forgetting silverware and leaving glasses empty for long periods of time. This was bad because we were able to refill our drinks but she insisted on "helping". Other than that she basically did nothing and we couldn't understand why they need to fulfill this position in a serve yourself restaurant. I do not recommend this experience to ANYBODY. Also, they do not even have public restrooms, for a $15 salad they cant afford to have this facility? Ridiculous

This is considered quick service California cuisine. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan you should definitely use your counter service credits here - it is the best value. This is a quick service restaurant with table service quality food. The food includes pizzas and pastas, and it is served on china with cutlery. The restaurant has recently been refurbished, and you can sit inside or outside. The desserts are delicious too - be sure to try the creme brulee. Waiters clear your plates and can help with drink refills too.

Overall I like Wolfgang Puck Express. I have gotten take out from here a few times lately some of the items I have had include the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatos , mac and cheese (giant portion from the kids menu), caesar salad - the best caesar dressing anywhere!!! Skip the key lime pie - not so great. Never tried any of the pizzas maybe next time. The last time I was there the service wasnt so "express" had to wait a good 20 minutes for the food. My husband and I visited Wolfgang Puck Express in the Downtown Disney Village Marketplace on March 21, 2010 at about 3:00 p.m. The sky had fallen out two hours earlier and it was still raining when we arrived. No one was eating on the patio area and there were probably five tables of folks inside eating. The rest of the tables looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in hours. The tables had been cleared, but had obviously not been wiped down. There was one server who was trying to serve the guests and he just didn't have time to maintain the entire front of house. We approached the cash register ordering area and one staffer advised us that they were closed and that so-and-so would take our order. So-and-so was obviously not pleased to be working this shift, because she was about as standoffish as she could be. We ordered a Chicken Pesto Salad sandwich in two pita halves with more romaine leaves than chicken and chips for $10 and a Margherita pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, roma tomatoes and fresh basil for $10. One cup of coffee must have been $2+ because the total order was $23.00. The cash register girl asked several times if we had AAA, but we didn't and she seemed flustered. Not everyone has AAA. What the? We asked if we could use the Disney Rewards card (with points/dollars from using a Disney Visa). She didn't know and off she went to ask. She returns and confirmed they do accept the Disney Rewards card, but still doesn't know how to process the card. The store phone rings and it's the manager's kid. We know this because cash register girl yelled it about as loud as she could to everyone on the kitchen side of the restaurant. Manager approaches to take the call and have the most public conversation with her child, but the good news is that she saw the struggling cashier and processed the transaction for her. We are given a table number plastic thing and told the food will be our shortly. We found a table and used some napkins to clean it ourselves. The food arrived shortly thereafter. The pizza is not worth $10. If I could have shoved a Totino's $1.50 pizza in my purse and carried it all over Disney property and found a toaster oven to cook it myself, I would have saved myself $8.50. The pizza is a flat type. It's thinner than matzo, if you can imagine that. There is a schmear of tomato sauce and despite the fact that the 10" round was cut into 8 pieces, there weren't even 8 slices of tomato, 8 dollops of mozzerella or 8 pieces of basil on top. I think I made better bagel pizzas after school. The chicken pesto sandwich was amply sized for $10. The chips were VERY tasty and the best part of the meal. This sandwich is filling and I recommend splitting it for two people. If we would have thought to ask for an extra side of chips, we could have skipped the pizza altogether. If you are planning a visit to the Downtown Disney Village Marketplace and are looking for a quick meal, I recommend the Earl of Sandwich (see my review). The value at EoS cannot be surpassed on Disney property. We tried Wolfgang Puck Express because we'd just tried EoS two weeks earlier and wanted to sample something different. We'll now we have and we probably won't be returning to WPE. I would recommend WPE drop the price on the pizzas by at least $2.50 if they aren't going to put enough toppings on the pizza and seriously hire and retrain their staff to support a restaurant operation like this.

I consider this to be the best dining at Downtown Disney. If you are on the Disney Dining plan...it's an even better deal, because this counts as counter-service. I used to work across the street and came here many times for lunch. Never a bad deal. The salads are awesome. My wife loves the pasta, and I think the meatloaf sandwich (with bacon, tomato compote, etc) is slammin. No frills service, they do the number on the table thing, and you can get a good meal without spending a ton of $$...something rather hard to achieve on any Disney property!

We stopped into Wolfgang Puck Express while vacationing, and we loved it so much that we went back during the same trip. We were there on Thursday September 26, 2013, and Tuesday October 1, 2013. It was a great value for our QUICK SERVICE DDP credits. My daughter got a flatbread pizza, and hubby and I got the roasted turkey club with avocado spread and a side of fries. HOLY COW! It was so yummy, and it was so much food that we could barely make it to the dessert option, which was cheesecake all around. It nearly ruined our plans for dinner because it was so much food. LOL. And my hubby loved the free-flowing iced tea refills.

It tends to be less crowded as it is set off to the back side behind the always busy Earl of Sandwich. Pretty bad stuff. The pizzas are similar to California Pizza Kitchen, but to a lower quality. Oven Roasted Salmon was over cooked and dry. The sandwiches are okay, but nothing special. The decor looks like a more is less, functional style, which does not do much to serve as a tourist eatery. The price point is better served at other quick serve eateries in the Downtown Disney area. Sad that Wolfgang Puck would associate his name endorsing this place.

This restaurant really caters to those of us with expensive taste, but without the wallet to match. The food was fantastic and full of flavor! My wife and I split a bowl of Butternut Squash soup as well as a Traditional Margherita Pizza. We paid about $17 in total, and both of us left satisfied. The soup was delicious and served with a piece of Focaccia bread. The pizza dough, sauce, and other ingredients tasted so fresh! On top of the delicious food, the servers that bring your food and refill your drinks were incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would love to go back again and try some more items on the menu. There were plenty of tasty-sounding dishes that I can't wait to try!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about WPE. It came highly recommended by those familiar with fine dining at Disney as a MUST-try quick service place, and I was not at all disappointed. It is also BY FAR the best value on a Disney Dining Plan for a quick service restaurant, because honestly it's more like table service food. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table, rather than having to pick it up yourself, which is a plus at quick-service joints at Disney. Parking is a PITA. It's Downtown Disney. You expected otherwise? We split the salmon, and it was aMAzing. I am NOT generally a salmon fan because I generally find it tastes overly fishy, but this was truly exceptional. It's served on a salad and fingerling potatoes, which are also fabulous. We had creme brulee for dessert, and it was very creamy and delicious - a little different from usual, much yellower, but good nonetheless. We hit WPE on our last night on our way out of town (driving home to NE Florida), so we burned our leftover quick service credits and came home with 3 pizzas and 3 desserts. Even after the journey, reheated, and generally abused, they were fabulous. We also took home some creme brulee and cheesecake, which both made the trip surprisingly well and the cheesecake is also good. The food is amazing, but the service is truly outstanding. Oscar, our server, not only brought us frequent refills, but when we wanted to place the to-go order, he handled that as well, rather than making us go back and stand in the line that had developed since we sat down, and delivered the to-go food, complete with bottled waters for the road (included with the dining plan), right to our table. I was impressed enough to hike all the way to the car and back on my abused little blistered post-Disney feet to get cash to tip him.

The Disney Dining Plan absolutely paid off after our first stop here. It was a long day and we were starved. I ordered the Rotisserie Beef & Gorgonzola Pocket - roasted Rotisserie Beef Gorgonzola, chopped Romaine, Red Onions, Roma Tomatoes, and Horseradish Caesar in a pita pocket. Wife ordered the Chionois Chicken Salad. For dessert I had the Creme Brulee Food was great! The medley of flavors from the Rotisserie Beef & Gorgonzola pocket was just amazing! I love WPE! We go there for dinner at lest one night on every trip to WDW. It's definitely gourmet food in a quick service setting. Portions are large, and prices are reasonable. My only problem is with the seating system. You order your food, go grab a table, and a server then brings your food to you. That gets kind of tricky during really busy times, and on one of our recent visits had people hovering over us waiting for us to finish so they could grab our table. Huge turn off. They've tried to set it up so people are forced to go through line, THEN get a table but it doesn't stop people grom jumping over or maneuvering around the barricade they've made between the line and the dining area to save tables. So for the whole seating system, I knock them down from 5 stars to 4.

My mouth is watering just writing this review. They are remodeling all the time, looks like they are extending seating.

Love this place when on the Disney Dining plan. Came in with my family of 5 for lunch. Server was pleasent and helpful. The food was great as we had appetizers, entrees and dessert. The only downside was the cafe was very cold and it took a long time between courses to get our food. I would give food a 4/5, but as I mentioned, the cold and wait was ridiculouse. I had the steak frites which was good, but I was surprised by fries being plain as many yelpers raved about them. Steak was nicely done. All other items were great including salads and pizza. Turn down the a/c though.

Cheap good food in Disneyworld. Kind of an oxymoron yes? Yes! Well, Woflgang Puck Express is such an oxymoron. At least to California standards. My wife and I killed some time here before our flight and we both got pizza's. Me? I got the Classic Margherita (SP?). She got the mushroom spinach. They both seemed fairly similar but yet tasted so different. Both were very tasty though. The pizza's ran in the mid-teens and the DVC members got a nice little discount which was a pleasant surprise. Even though the the restaurant itself is a counter service restaurant, their servers are VERY helpful in getting you everything/anything you want while you are at your table. I would definitely come here over and over again. Heck, this was my 4th time here. The last time, I got a chicken caesar salad that was in pita bread and that was delicious too! I shouldn't crave any food from a vacation, it makes me want to go back even more. This place is kind of on the craving list. Good, cheap and a pleasant experience. TL:DR - Good Cheap'ish and on property!

For the first few years I was going to Disney World, I didn't even know about this place, as I really didn't get to Downtown Disney in the mornings, and the place was typically busy during lunch and dinner. However, things changed a few years later. The first year I went there during early December for the holidays, the resort I was staying at then (2008) was Port Orleans Riverside. Well, I didn't know that Pop Warner was going on then, so the food court was an absolute mob scene. Then I decided to go to Downtown Disney instead for breakfast. First, I saw Earl of Sandwich, but that place was packed t to the gills. Then, I saw Wolfgang Puck Express. There was only a minimal wait (two families in front of me waiting to order), so I decided to give it a try. On that first visit, I had the breakfast pizza and it was absolutely outstanding. Since then, I have made sure to come here at least once for breakfast every time I come to Disney World. Now, for this most recent trip to Disney World, I ended up eating here for breakfast three times. Not one of those times were there any issues. The food came out to perfection each and every time. The portions are huge, even for breakfast. The server was Maritza G. and she was great. She made sure the drinks were filled and so forth. On all three visits this time, she was our server. This place is categorized as a quick service dining location on the Disney Dining Plan. This place is definitely worth using here and is one of the better values for your overall cost of the plan. I'd consider this place almost a "hybrid" quick service, since you do actually have a server come to your table once you sit down after ordering at the register. For those of you that like sweet tea, they have it here as well. The tea here isn't that "instant" kind that you find at other places around Disney. All in all, this is definitely a hidden gem when it comes to breakfast. Next time you're in the area, be sure to come here. You won't be disappointed. This is my absolute favorite quick service location on Disney property.

Not a huge fan of WP's main restaurant, so I had low expectations going to the Express portion of the restaurant. You basically pay $11 for a cold pre-packaged deli sandwich or sushi. I opted for the cheese pizza as the only vegetarian option. $12 for a big portion. I could only eat half. It was good but the crust was burnt a little, and it was super oily. Pretty standard fare at Downtown Disney.

This was a dinner that started out great but ended with a burnt taste in my mouth. Wolfgang Puck Express is located at the edge of the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney, but it's easily confused with the restaurant located in the West Side section of Downtown Disney (where there is a weird trinity going on) here on Yelp. We started by presenting our Disney Dining Plan which entitled each of us to 1 non-alcoholic beverage, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. We ended up with 2 different kind of juices (not a concern for the purposes of this story), Margherita Pizza, Cavatappi Chicken Alfredo, Creme Brulee, and Vanilla Cheesecake. The Margherita Pizza was excellent. It's become the standard that I use to compare pizzas, and theirs is definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The Alfredo also had good flavor, and the bacon added a wonderful salty punch to the dish, but I wish they had put a lot more alfredo sauce on it. Dessert was where it all went downhill. How sad, huh? Especially when dessert is supposed to be the grand finale. I get that brulee means "burnt" but I really don't think that it was supposed to leave a burnt taste in your mouth after every bite. It's only supposed to be caramelized, not actually burnt. The burn also didn't stay with just the Creme Brulee. The Vanilla glaze on the Cheesecake was also burnt. How does that happen? Next time, I will stick to just the entrees. If I had, this review would've been one star higher.

This was ok, a little pricey. Was disappointed that a Downtown DISNEY restaurant does not include a drink or a dessert with their 8$ mac and cheese KID's meal. The kid's drink is the same price as an adult drink (both lemonades, one half the size of the other). So it turned out quite an expensive mac and cheese. I recommend splitting an adult drink for 2 kids to save some $$. My other son had the most ordinary hamburger ever. Adult meals were ok.
A great spot for lunch if you're in the Downtown Disney area and need to grab a bite to eat that is good quality, but not a fancy sit-down. My favorite item to order off the menu is definitely the Chinois Chicken Salad - cabbage, crispy wontons, chicken...can you go wrong? I don't think so...

A great place to go eat at in Downtown Disney if you are looking for something to eat but don't have reservations. The quality here is definitely a step above the other quick service restaurants on Disney property so if you are on the quick service dining plan.. COME HERE! The restaurant itself is not bad looking. It feels modern. It is a bit dark in there though so it was somewhat difficult for me to take clear pictures of the food. The mushroom pizza I ordered was pretty delicious although the flan was just OK. I am pretty interested in coming back and trying out their pasta dishes.

This is the best deal for a quick service meal. The inside is clean and minimalist. You order at the counter and are given a number to place on your table. A server then delivers your meal once it's ready. There is a good selection of West Coast style entrees and comfort foods...from pizza, salads, sandwiches, pasta and meatloaf. The servings are large and filling. Oh, and the creme brulee might just be the best I've ever had anywhere! It's not stuffy by any means..just good food and a decent value.

One word, wow! My meal plan called this place a "quick service," place but it's anything but! I ordered the bacon meatloaf wrap and creme brulee. The food was awesome, I loved the sauce that came with my meatloaf. It was finger licking good...literally. =). The portions were huge and I could barely finish my desert cause of it. Came here for a quick lunch today. Totally unimpressed and underwhelmed. My friend did say something about the pizza being good, but I didn't try it and since now my experience wasn't good, I'll never know if it is good or not. I had the butternut squash soup and also the chinois salad. Both dishes were ginormous and we wonder why we have an obesity epidemic. The butternut squash soup was OK, but a bit too creamy for my taste. The chinois salad was a slaw mix, wonton strips, and cashews. Fail. Fail. The wonton strips were extremely oily and the dressing was bland. Sure they gave you a huge portion, but none of it was good. Don't think I'll be back and you should just skip this place. Go next door to Earl of Sandwich, much better and cheaper too!

If you are on the Disney Dining plan, this is a little quick service gem. They have much better options then most of the burger/fries quick service joints. There is a comfortable place inside to sit down. The food is very good, the margarita pizza is delicious. If you are on the dining plan, go for the cheesecake (even though I wouldn't pay the listed $6 ) and leave the brownie (not so good).

I like coming here because its convenient and usually quick. I like to stay in hotels in the area (Port Orleans, Buena Vista Palace) this is a good place to grab a bite before shopping. The convenience is really what keeps me coming back, the food is fine although the portions are small and it is quite expensive. My friend's tiny fruit cup was mega bucks. I like being able to eat outside, as long as you have your number the food runners will find you, don't worry. The girl who delivered my food was really nice and I felt like she really cared about our experience. The gentleman who we ordered from however...was half asleep or something. Maybe he couldn't hear what I was saying though since they blast music, plus there's tons of screaming kids in there (a given at Disney). Oh well. I got my soup, it was good, and I was outta there.

How on earth this is considered a quick serve meal on the dining plan is beyond me. The food is top notch and the portions are more than generous. No greasy burgers, lame pizza or basic hot dogs and chicken fingers here. The mac and cheese is amazing! If you are in Downtown Disney and need a quick serve meal this is the place to go. There are two locations and the menu can vary slightly so just check out which menu fits you best. Enjoy!

I love this fast, counter service restaurant at Downtown Disney. Great pizzas here- especially the BBQ chicken one! And if you love sweet potato fries, this is the place to go. A side order is HUGE and enough to share for 2 people. The salads are good as well. Plenty of seating indoors and out. The line may look long at times but it goes wuick and food does not take long to come out to your table.

Always come to Wolfgang when I'm in Downtown Disney. Prices are not that bad considering the touristic location. 11$ for a pizza that feeds my whole family. Not bad! The pizzas are always great. My sister in law has special ingredient requirements and they accommodated her with no problem...making a Margherita Pizza with just goat cheese tomatoes and parsley. It's Downtown Disney on a holiday weekend (11/27/2010) and we didn't want to wait 30-60 minutes elsewhere to just get in or pay $50+ to tame our munchies. I really liked my food. Very simple but sophisticated. I loved the meatloaf, my niece loved the meatballs, and the rest of my family loved the chicken alfredo. The waiter was generous and great. Don't know his name. Friendly faces, food made to order with fresh ingredients, and a table service meal at a quick service price! We headed to Downtown Disney after running around Walt Disney World that evening. What I love about Wolfgang Puck Express is their pizzas - and how they are big enough to share as an entree with another person. We entered the venue to a short line and was greeted by a very friendly cashier. We inquired about a pizza we had last time, but unfortunately it was only a special and not available at the time. We settled on Butternut Squash soup to start and the Margherita Pizza as our entree (love the mozz on top). As soon as you get your drinks and order number, you are left to the task of finding your own table - which of course it how it goes in the world of quickservice. As soon as you're seated, however, is when the "Wolfgang Puck Express" style of quickservice begins, as one of their dining room staff quickly greets you and places silverware on your table, asking if there is anything you need. Very quickly - as the food is made to order - our "server" delivered our food and a few small plates for the purpose of our sharing. They were attentive to things we needed (an additional spoon for the soup, refills) and truly seemed to want to make sure our experience was good. The Butternut Squash soup had a drizzle of what tasted like marinara sauce in it. It was extremely flavorful and the side of focaccia bread was the perfect dipping duo. The bowl was even enough for us to share without feeling like we didn't get a good portion. The pizza was perfect - it is a lovely thin crust pizza topped with amazingly fresh ingredients. Each bite was a great mix of flavors and completely satisfied! All in all it was another great experience at this Wolfgang Puck Express and I look forward to our next meal!

I am not a big fan of Wolfgang Puck's cafe down the waterfront, but I find his Express a nice place to have a late breakfast like a spinach and artichoke omelet. When I stay at Saratoga, I like to walk over to Downtown Disney to take photos before the crowds arrive. The Express is open at 9 am to late at night. The pizza selection is wonerful but the menu is overpriced. Two great lunch selections are the salads - chicken caesar and Chinois chicken are Wolfgang classics. I also like the fact you order, get a number, and they will find you inside or if you sit outside on a nice day. Beer and wine make this a good adult stop. If you have a lot of kids, the pizza bill may get very high.

The best quick dining on the Disney property. The portion sizes are very large. The pasta dishes looked incredible, as did the salads. We had a pizza and the meatloaf. This isn't your mom's meatloaf either. It's wrapped in crispy bacon and served on a bed of mashed potatoes, and topped with thin crisply onion rings with a port wine sauce. This was one of the best meals I've had on the property. We'll go back to Downtown just to have lunch here.

Oh, Wolfgang, Wolfgang... Last time I checked, you were a CHEF! WTF is up with your menu at these Wolfgang Puck Express places? Sushi? Ceasar Salad? Rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes? Steak Frites? Salmon? Pizza? CHICKEN ALFREDO? (for the love of God!) Overall, the food here was quite tasty. I am just extremely dissapointed with the menu. From a celebrity chef I expect something more creative/inventive. The food here is all good but incredibly predictable and boring. We tried the pumpkin ravioli, BBQ chicken pizza and the roasted salmon. Just OK. Keep in mind that people giving this place 5 stars are doing so because they are comparing it to other options on the Disney dining plan.

Usually, Wolfgang Puck is my go to tourist-trap safe-food. The sandwhiches they serve on the other side of Downtown Disney are (or at least they were 3 years ago) really good. But This WP served me some greasy-but-not-in-a-good way Mac n' Cheese that even when I was fairly intoxicated I could not finish. Problem. I'll probably go back, because, let's face it, it's probably still better than some of the other quickie-options in Downtown Disney, but maybe not so much for a late-night post-concert snack.

Would never ever recommend this place. We were told our wait would be 20 minutes. Almost an hour and a half later, we finally got a table. We would have been fine if we had been told an hour or more to begin with, we would have been able to leave and do something (they gave us a buzzer). But because of the range, and because it was only meant to be 20 min, we just sat there for 90 min with our 3 year old (who was obviously pretty anxious by the time we finally got in there). Then $15 for a small plate of mac and cheese made with super cheap tasting cheese and mix up with our order. Totally awful experience.

I recently discovered Wolfgang Puck Express. I work at Marketplace so this is the only one I've tried, I haven't ventured to West Side to the other Wolfgang Puck. This is one of the more expensive fast service places but in my opinion, the price is worth it! I love their Chicken Strips, they're juicy and crisp and paired with the fries, it's heavenly! The Creme Brulee is amazing! The Chicken Noodle Soup is ehh, not as good as I would expect it to be. And their Mashed Potatoes are creamy and smooth. I hear a lot of good things about their pizza but I haven't had the pleasure of trying it yet.

The menu selection is a little better than the usual Disney counter service food. For example I ordered the 4 cheese pizza with a pesto sauce, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, etc On the dining plan, its a counter service but they bring the food to you :) As a native New Orleanian, I have to mention they sell Abita Andygator(it only comes in approx 32 oz bottle) for 5.95. At home where Abita is locally micro brewed I can never find it for under $10. Its a high alcohol content full bodied beer and its delicious. The only negative I found with this visit was they renovated the inside and now the express only has outdoor seating. It was chilly the night we were there so luckily they had 4 open bar chairs available that look out into the outdoor dining area.(There's 6 chairs total)

spicy shrimp pizza - it was not spicy nor shrimpy, two of us had it and we both left most of it, just not edible. Colleagues seemed to enjoy their salads but I must say they did not look appealing on the plate. Add the manic Disney Server and it was just a bit all disturbing but close to HOB for work. Not good VFM a $17. A rather somber experience for all 5 of us.

First time trying this restaurant (they have one where i live - Houston) I tried the bacon wrapped meatloaf and boy was it yummy. Wife tried the salmon and it was yummy. Their creme brule was ok only. Food came out quickly and service was great...highly recommeded. I will visit the local restaurant soon.

Why only 3 stars?? This place is great! It's the best bang for buck on the Disney dining plan..counting as a quick-service meal. It's actually the only counter service restaurant where you get served your food. =) Get the salmon, and you can thank me later. It was fresh, well-seasoned, and quite delicious, served atop a bed of fresh mixed greens. We got the creme brulee for dessert, and it was yummy and a really good portion size. So a $26 meal = 1 quick service point on the dining plan. Sounds good to me!

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. The best thing is that they have alot of the items from the actual wolfgang puck restaurant, but at a cheaper price. It looks like fast food, but it's pretty much waiter service. The portions are large and you wont walk away hungry. We had the Disney dining plan one year and an employee said we would enjoy this place as it counts as a quick service meal. The food is very good and not expensive. Definetely worth a try!

I've been trying to find eat at a real Wolfgang Puck for years (they keep closing and the express keeps popping up), and I went to the wrong part! I literally just now learned that there are two parts to this restaurant. I ate downstairs and was let down by the menu. I really wish instead of waiting 45 minutes to eat in a cafeteria that did not serve the food I was there for I had known about the difference. The pizza and sushi were both good though. Man... I am such a tourist...

I purchased the Disney Dining Plan and this restaurant was one of the participant. It was almost like a fast food restaurant except the food is not fast food but the service was quick. I ordered chicken pasta, steak, creme brulee and a cheesecake. Food presentation was lacking but the price was very affordable (if you don't use the Dining Plan) for Disney. Server was extremely friendly, which is expected from Disney.

Most reasonable priced place for lunch in downtown Disney for the quality of food you get. This one is right by Sandwich of Earl and we found it to have very fresh food, good number of choices, and great service. Chicken aioli sandwich was full of flavor and one I would get again. The chicken Cesar salad was very fresh with good chicken and great dressing. The pizza kept passing us by and looked very good- we are going to try that next time! Much better choice for the price then Sandwich of Earl or that fast food chicken and rice place (can't remember the name but it is where McDonald's used to be)

Not a bad choice if you're on that end of Downtown Disney and want something quick. Not the cheapest of places, but the pizza I had was decent enough. It was late in the evening and there were no open tables. We had to wait about 10 minutes for one. We were also told it would be a 25 minute wait for pizza. Luckily, it was only about 15.

This review is for the express counter for dinner. I ordered the turkey melt on the suggestion of the man taking my order. We then proceeded outside to the patio area, where each of the chairs were missing screws and about to fall a part. I waited 20 minutes for my sandwich and everyone else got their food. I finally flagged someone down, who went and retrieved my food. The sandwich itself resembled cat food on bread and didn't tast much better. You would expect a more exciting dish by such an impressive restaurant, but this was a no go. I ended up asking for my money back (which I haven't done in forever!) and went home hungry. Try the one on the other side of Downtown Disney as it's much better!

Food quality was good, I had the chicken alfredo pasta, wife had the salmon, which was good but a bit small. I was more than happy with the self serve soda fountain. If I was paying for the meal (without dining plan), it was $85 for three adults (my daughter is 10) and one child I would have marked down for value (good quality, high price)

Ugh! Some of the food here was really good, but our experience was just awful. The counter service here was more confusing and hectic than your average counter service place. The boyfriend and I came here for dinner on the Disney dining plan, which included entree, beverage, and dessert. When we tried to order dessert, they were out of everything except for oatmeal raisin cookies and frozen yogurt. We went with the frozen yogurt, and the guy at the counter told us to talk to one of the bussers when we were done with our entrees, and they would bring our frozen yogurt to us then. Okay. We ordered all our stuff, found a free table that was covered with crumbs and grease, and put our number on the table. However, when we received our entrees, the busser took our number away. We tried to explain that we still had dessert coming up, but the busser dashed away before we could get a word in. There wasn't any silverware on the table either. After a few minutes of intense staring and waving at bussers who purposely ignored us, the boyfriend took matters into his own hands and hunted down some silverware. We figured we would eat our entrees first, as they were getting cold, and then get the dessert issue straightened out later. I got the beef and gorgonzola pocket - 3 stars. The pita bread was fresh and tasty, and it was stuffed with roast beef (medium! tender!), gorgonzola cheese crumbles, chopped tomato, chopped red onion, and TONS of romaine lettuce. I would say the pocket was 60% romaine lettuce. If I wanted that much lettuce, I would've ordered a freaking salad. On the plus side, my half-head of romaine lettuce was lightly dressed with a caesar-ish dressing - yay for not piling on the dressing. The pocket came with parmesan potato chips - 4-5 stars. Yum!! The boyfriend got some sort of barbecue flatbread that was very cheesy and tasty. Not sure if it's still on the menu though. Right when we finished eating, a busser appeared to take away our plates. It was clear they were ignoring us whenever we had requests but attentive when they wanted to clear a table for incoming diners. We tried to explain that we still had dessert. This took a few minutes for the busser to understand. He then asked us if we wanted any toppings on our frozen yogurt. I asked him what kind of toppings they had. He said, "Cookies." WTF, why did he imply there were multiple types of toppings, and why the heck didn't he say, "Do you want cookie crumbles on your frozen yogurt?" We said sure. A few minutes later, some really melty frozen yogurts arrived, with reject cookie pieces and crumbs dumped on top. It was basically a parfait glass full of what looked like sand and pebbles, with some frozen yogurt peeking through. Upon closer inspection, I found both chocolate chip cookie pieces and oatmeal raisin cookie pieces in my cup. WTF! To add insult to injury, the frozen yogurt was incredibly disgusting. If I were to freeze a mixture of chalk dust, sweet-n-low, and milk, it would probably taste about the same. The chocolate chip cookie pieces were also stale. The oatmeal raisin, however, was decent. After a few bites of this barf parfait, I stopped only to hear the table next to me order four frozen yogurts. I wanted to scream, "DON'T DO IT!" ...but I didn't. Seriously, if you are here on the dining plan, DO NOT get the frozen yogurt. If you are paying out of pocket and want some ice cream, save yourself the $4 and walk to McDonald's for a $1 sundae that will be a thousand times better. And while the bussers seemingly made a point of ignoring us, they were extremely attentive to the table next to us (that would eventually order the four froyos). I'm guessing they assumed that a family of four would be better tippers and that a younger couple, without kids, would be poor tippers. Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Terrible food & terrible service. We even spoke with the manager and we was unconcerned about our experience. Save your time and money, especially when dining with kids. The children's menu is awful.

I'm going to give Wolfgang Puck Express one star based on two reasons: 1) I ordered food for takeout, was told to take a seat with my number and it'd be right out. I then watched as three groups of 4-5 people were seated and served while my order for two people remained undelivered. My food was not delivered until I got up and asked the cashier what was going on. 2) The food that we brought back to our hotel after a long day, and a long wait at Wolfgang's wasn't satisfying at all. At best, it was on the same level as a "gourmet" frozen pizza. And while I love me some frozen pizzas, I don't love paying twice their costs or waiting twice as long for them. Bonus reason for one star: my pizza was fairly soggy after the ten minute walk back, so I can only assume that it was just sitting there, forgotten, while I sat waiting patiently.

The meatloaf sandwich was incredible (from the Express area)! I was jealous because it's what my friend ordered. I ordered the spaghetti (Express), which was okay -- but it wasn't as amazing as that meatloaf sandwich. Everything else I've had here has been great. The mac and cheese is delicious; the butternut squash soup is fantastic as well. (Note: in the express and downstairs restaurant, they finish it with a red pepper swirl; upstairs it's with creme fraiche. The upstairs garnish completely changes the dish. It's magical.)

For a quick service restaurant, this is a fresh and tasty way to have a quick meal! Love the Chinois Salad... The food always comes out quickly and is delicious. Others entrees look fantastic and I always drool over the freshly made pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. Don't be afraid of the long line to order as it moves fairly quickly and the food comes out fast. Once your order is placed, you're given a number to place on your table. You then move over the the fountain beverage area, get a beverage, then find a spot to sit in the dining room or outdoor seating area. A runner brings your food to the table and refills your drink for you if you'd like. Although this restaurant is pricier than the other quick service next door, it's a lovely setting and a nice respite from a busy day!

There are two Wolfgang Puck Expresses at Downtown Disney. I have eaten at the Marketplace location several times and have always had an outstanding quick serve meal! The service has alway been great also! Since I was on the West Side of Downtown Disney I decided to eat the WPE at this location. BAD DECISION!! I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. When it arrived at my table I had to take a second look to make sure I wasn't being filmed for some comedy show. (No Cameras). The pizza crust was slightly charred on one side and totally missing the crust on the other!! Someone in the kitchen had cut 1/2 the crust off the pizza because it had burned!!! In the center of the pizza was a 1/2 inch of liquid and uncooked dough!! I couldn't believe it!! If Wolfgang Puck himself knew this restaurant was serving this type of food he would be floored!! My advice...Stick to the Marketplace location and you will be pleased!

I've been to Disneyworld and the Marketplace time after time, but never realized until our trip earlier this year what a hidden gem Wolfgang Puck Express is. Compared to the other quick service options on the Disney Dining Plan, this is THE BEST bang for your buck if you aren't in one of the parks. We visited once for dinner and were blown away. The restaurant may be a quick service set-up, but your meals are brought to the table and are so, so generous. I had the salmon and was blown away. We loved our meal so much, we came back on our final day in Orlando for lunch. We both had the chicken fingers this time (and we were no longer on the dining plan) and I felt the portion size and yummy factor were well worth the money!

This is one of the places that I will eat at Downtown Disney for quick service. The food isn't overly impressive but it isn't bad. I usually only get the pizza and this last time I got a pepperoni pizza. I think it tastes pretty good but it can be lacking on the sauce and it was pretty greasy. The service is usually pretty good and the food is decent. I don't go running here when I'm at Downtown Disney but it's decent if you are hungry. One tip I have is that the kids pizza is about the same size as the regular pizza and there is a drink. ;)

Not cheap - despite it being "express" and seat yourself. I had the curry chicken sandwich (was going for the club, but they couldn't take off the remoulade because the sandwiches are pre-made. (think about that as you wait 20 to 30 minutes for your pre-made food that cost about $25 per person. I also got the tortilla soup. The sandwich was OK. The bread was chewy - because it was pre made sitting in the fridge. The sandwich was served with a few potato chips. The soup was good. I'll probably be back, because there are so few options here.

The tortilla soup and the buttersquash soup were really great. The pizza was good, but the chicken alfredo pasta was not good at all. Plus they served us the main course and the desert at the same time. That makes no sense.
To me, WPE deserves 2.5 stars, but it gets a Yelp round-up to 3. Come in, order at the counter and have a seat with a number. The servers bring the food to the tables according to the numbers. You can fix your own drink at the soda fountain, which is always a plus for me. They also had Cherry Coke, another plus. I had a rosemary beef focaccia and my wife had a California turkey hero. We both thought they were good. My parents, sister and daughter all got spaghetti. The three adult portions didn't have enough sauce on them. We asked for and received more sauce, but it took a while for that sauce to come out. The pre-portioned creme brulee for desert was alright; a fresh one is much better. Overall, however, I would have rather eaten at Earl of Sandwich just a few steps away.

The pizza here was absolutely amazing. It was the first time I had Wolfgang Puck pizza. I can't tell you about the other items on the menu, but the pizza is good! It was baked just perfectly with a crispy crust, the pizzas are thin and had a lot of flavor to them. I don't remember the exact ones we ordered, but I believe one was the chicken and the other one was a vege one with pesto. We liked it so much, we ordered it again for take out the next day. This is an express location so you order at the counter and then they bring it to you once it is ready. Staff was friendly just like at all the Disney locations, they even found my money on the floor by the register and came to my table to give it back.

Okay so it's over priced...you're at Disney! I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. We've had great experiences every time we've been there. The service has always been excellent even though you order at the counter. The food was pretty good, even the kids meals. I thought the menu was pretty extensive since it's sort of a fast food place. The Beef & Gorgonzola pocket sandwich is excellent and one of our favorites. If you're looking for fast but tasty food, this or Earl of sandwich is your best bet.

I came here for breakfast. The food for Disney standards is very good quality although by no means is this a fancy place. We were here at a non-busy time and had to wait about 20 minutes to get our food. I can't imagine how long you wait in the evening when Downtown Disney is packed. That being said I would definitely eat here again provided it was not too crowded as the food quality was better than a lot of Disney restaurants. I had the french toast which had corn flakes and bacon and was good. My son had the chocolate chip Belgian waffles which were also good. My husband and other son just had standard bagel with cream cheese. I can say if I were having lunch or dinner I would choose Cooke's of Dublin over this place because it had much better quality of food but, overall this place was good.

Good grief. How can Wolfgang even keep his name on this place. I am sure he is making a pretty penny out of the standing order he has from the Disney Empire (this is one of the many eateries in the Disney all-inclusive meal plan), but I would wager that he is losing money from the way that this plan damages his diminishing reputation. The place is a limited-menu, fast food joint ith dining at outdoor (aleit shaded) shared picnic tables. The place was a diaster when we went there - trash everywhere on the floor, tables, spilling out of trash cans. So much so, that we just moved on. Ugh.

I think J Y W may have been writing about the full blown Puck Cafe on the Westside of Downtown. I ate at the Puck Express. Linguine with chicken was not good. Waste of money. The rotisserie half-chicken w/ mash on the other hand cost the same amount and was good. More worth the money. I'd have to say though, no wow factor there. Kind of disappointing. Maybe because it was "Express" and not the real deal...?

I am a food service professional. I just dined at wolfgang puck express in downtown Disney. When we first walked in the door and were greeted right away. This a was a step on the right foot. We placed our order and took our seats. We ordered the veggie sandwhich, veggie pizza, and chinois chicken salad. I was excited to see a wood burning pizza oven which is a great feature. When we recieved our food it was apparent to me the chinois chicken salad was obviously slaw mix that comes in a bag. This was hugely dissapointing based on the reputation. Also the dressing on this salad had raw ginger which is a complete turn off. Other than that the sandwhich and pizza where mediocre at best. The service was absolutely terrible with the server forgetting silverware and leaving glasses empty for long periods of time. This was bad because we were able to refill our drinks but she insisted on "helping". Other than that she basically did nothing and we couldn't understand why they need to fulfill this position in a serve yourself restaurant. I do not recommend this experience to ANYBODY. Also, they do not even have public restrooms, for a $15 salad they cant afford to have this facility? Ridiculous
(1)This is considered quick service California cuisine. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan you should definitely use your counter service credits here - it is the best value. This is a quick service restaurant with table service quality food. The food includes pizzas and pastas, and it is served on china with cutlery. The restaurant has recently been refurbished, and you can sit inside or outside. The desserts are delicious too - be sure to try the creme brulee. Waiters clear your plates and can help with drink refills too.

Overall I like Wolfgang Puck Express. I have gotten take out from here a few times lately some of the items I have had include the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatos , mac and cheese (giant portion from the kids menu), caesar salad - the best caesar dressing anywhere!!! Skip the key lime pie - not so great. Never tried any of the pizzas maybe next time. The last time I was there the service wasnt so "express" had to wait a good 20 minutes for the food. My husband and I visited Wolfgang Puck Express in the Downtown Disney Village Marketplace on March 21, 2010 at about 3:00 p.m. The sky had fallen out two hours earlier and it was still raining when we arrived. No one was eating on the patio area and there were probably five tables of folks inside eating. The rest of the tables looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in hours. The tables had been cleared, but had obviously not been wiped down. There was one server who was trying to serve the guests and he just didn't have time to maintain the entire front of house. We approached the cash register ordering area and one staffer advised us that they were closed and that so-and-so would take our order. So-and-so was obviously not pleased to be working this shift, because she was about as standoffish as she could be. We ordered a Chicken Pesto Salad sandwich in two pita halves with more romaine leaves than chicken and chips for $10 and a Margherita pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, roma tomatoes and fresh basil for $10. One cup of coffee must have been $2+ because the total order was $23.00. The cash register girl asked several times if we had AAA, but we didn't and she seemed flustered. Not everyone has AAA. What the? We asked if we could use the Disney Rewards card (with points/dollars from using a Disney Visa). She didn't know and off she went to ask. She returns and confirmed they do accept the Disney Rewards card, but still doesn't know how to process the card. The store phone rings and it's the manager's kid. We know this because cash register girl yelled it about as loud as she could to everyone on the kitchen side of the restaurant. Manager approaches to take the call and have the most public conversation with her child, but the good news is that she saw the struggling cashier and processed the transaction for her. We are given a table number plastic thing and told the food will be our shortly. We found a table and used some napkins to clean it ourselves. The food arrived shortly thereafter. The pizza is not worth $10. If I could have shoved a Totino's $1.50 pizza in my purse and carried it all over Disney property and found a toaster oven to cook it myself, I would have saved myself $8.50. The pizza is a flat type. It's thinner than matzo, if you can imagine that. There is a schmear of tomato sauce and despite the fact that the 10" round was cut into 8 pieces, there weren't even 8 slices of tomato, 8 dollops of mozzerella or 8 pieces of basil on top. I think I made better bagel pizzas after school. The chicken pesto sandwich was amply sized for $10. The chips were VERY tasty and the best part of the meal. This sandwich is filling and I recommend splitting it for two people. If we would have thought to ask for an extra side of chips, we could have skipped the pizza altogether. If you are planning a visit to the Downtown Disney Village Marketplace and are looking for a quick meal, I recommend the Earl of Sandwich (see my review). The value at EoS cannot be surpassed on Disney property. We tried Wolfgang Puck Express because we'd just tried EoS two weeks earlier and wanted to sample something different. We'll now we have and we probably won't be returning to WPE. I would recommend WPE drop the price on the pizzas by at least $2.50 if they aren't going to put enough toppings on the pizza and seriously hire and retrain their staff to support a restaurant operation like this.

I consider this to be the best dining at Downtown Disney. If you are on the Disney Dining plan...it's an even better deal, because this counts as counter-service. I used to work across the street and came here many times for lunch. Never a bad deal. The salads are awesome. My wife loves the pasta, and I think the meatloaf sandwich (with bacon, tomato compote, etc) is slammin. No frills service, they do the number on the table thing, and you can get a good meal without spending a ton of $$...something rather hard to achieve on any Disney property!

We stopped into Wolfgang Puck Express while vacationing, and we loved it so much that we went back during the same trip. We were there on Thursday September 26, 2013, and Tuesday October 1, 2013. It was a great value for our QUICK SERVICE DDP credits. My daughter got a flatbread pizza, and hubby and I got the roasted turkey club with avocado spread and a side of fries. HOLY COW! It was so yummy, and it was so much food that we could barely make it to the dessert option, which was cheesecake all around. It nearly ruined our plans for dinner because it was so much food. LOL. And my hubby loved the free-flowing iced tea refills.

I wasn't expecting much, but I got more than I expected. I highly recommend this quick stop location at Downtown Disney. It tends to be less crowded as it is set off to the back side behind the always busy Earl of Sandwich. The spaghetti and meatballs was REALLY good and didn't have the typical red sauce, but a lighter more flavorful sauce. I will definitely return!

Ok, maybe my expectations were a bit high, but with the name Wolfgang Puck linked to this establishment I had pretty high hopes. I'll never forget the excitement as I ordered a pizza and waited for a colleague to arrive with my lunch order. Underwhelming would be an accurate description. Having been exposed to all sorts of great styles of pizza growing up in the northeast, (a) I know pizza and (b) I'm open to different varieties. That being said, the cardboard crust covered with sauce (I guess) and something cheese like was the most disappointing pizza I've ever had. I should have looked at the pictures here first. If I had seen the crime brûlée served in an aluminum tin, maybe I would have stopped myself. Enjoy your two stats Puck, that's all you're getting from me.

This place is ok, in my opinion, not worth the price. Had the Mac and cheese, calamari and spinach salad. The salad was probably the best thing there. It's not bad by any means, but a bit over prices for what you get.

Pretty bad stuff. The pizzas are similar to California Pizza Kitchen, but to a lower quality. Oven Roasted Salmon was over cooked and dry. The sandwiches are okay, but nothing special. The decor looks like a more is less, functional style, which does not do much to serve as a tourist eatery. The price point is better served at other quick serve eateries in the Downtown Disney area. Sad that Wolfgang Puck would associate his name endorsing this place.

This restaurant really caters to those of us with expensive taste, but without the wallet to match. The food was fantastic and full of flavor! My wife and I split a bowl of Butternut Squash soup as well as a Traditional Margherita Pizza. We paid about $17 in total, and both of us left satisfied. The soup was delicious and served with a piece of Focaccia bread. The pizza dough, sauce, and other ingredients tasted so fresh! On top of the delicious food, the servers that bring your food and refill your drinks were incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would love to go back again and try some more items on the menu. There were plenty of tasty-sounding dishes that I can't wait to try!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about WPE. It came highly recommended by those familiar with fine dining at Disney as a MUST-try quick service place, and I was not at all disappointed. It is also BY FAR the best value on a Disney Dining Plan for a quick service restaurant, because honestly it's more like table service food. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table, rather than having to pick it up yourself, which is a plus at quick-service joints at Disney. Parking is a PITA. It's Downtown Disney. You expected otherwise? We split the salmon, and it was aMAzing. I am NOT generally a salmon fan because I generally find it tastes overly fishy, but this was truly exceptional. It's served on a salad and fingerling potatoes, which are also fabulous. We had creme brulee for dessert, and it was very creamy and delicious - a little different from usual, much yellower, but good nonetheless. We hit WPE on our last night on our way out of town (driving home to NE Florida), so we burned our leftover quick service credits and came home with 3 pizzas and 3 desserts. Even after the journey, reheated, and generally abused, they were fabulous. We also took home some creme brulee and cheesecake, which both made the trip surprisingly well and the cheesecake is also good. The food is amazing, but the service is truly outstanding. Oscar, our server, not only brought us frequent refills, but when we wanted to place the to-go order, he handled that as well, rather than making us go back and stand in the line that had developed since we sat down, and delivered the to-go food, complete with bottled waters for the road (included with the dining plan), right to our table. I was impressed enough to hike all the way to the car and back on my abused little blistered post-Disney feet to get cash to tip him.

The Disney Dining Plan absolutely paid off after our first stop here. It was a long day and we were starved. I ordered the Rotisserie Beef & Gorgonzola Pocket - roasted Rotisserie Beef Gorgonzola, chopped Romaine, Red Onions, Roma Tomatoes, and Horseradish Caesar in a pita pocket. Wife ordered the Chionois Chicken Salad. For dessert I had the Creme Brulee Food was great! The medley of flavors from the Rotisserie Beef & Gorgonzola pocket was just amazing! I took dibs off of my wife's salad too and it was nice! Creme Brulee was sweet! Real happy we made a stop here...

I don't like eating in the Disney parks or outside. This place is no different. Stick to the simple stuff, this was very expensive, twice the price of fast casual, but the food was fast casual. I'd avoid it at those prices.

I love WPE! We go there for dinner at lest one night on every trip to WDW. It's definitely gourmet food in a quick service setting. Portions are large, and prices are reasonable. My only problem is with the seating system. You order your food, go grab a table, and a server then brings your food to you. That gets kind of tricky during really busy times, and on one of our recent visits had people hovering over us waiting for us to finish so they could grab our table. Huge turn off. They've tried to set it up so people are forced to go through line, THEN get a table but it doesn't stop people grom jumping over or maneuvering around the barricade they've made between the line and the dining area to save tables. So for the whole seating system, I knock them down from 5 stars to 4.

My mouth is watering just writing this review. They are remodeling all the time, looks like they are extending seating.

Love this place when on the Disney Dining plan. Came in with my family of 5 for lunch. Server was pleasent and helpful. The food was great as we had appetizers, entrees and dessert. The only downside was the cafe was very cold and it took a long time between courses to get our food. I would give food a 4/5, but as I mentioned, the cold and wait was ridiculouse. I had the steak frites which was good, but I was surprised by fries being plain as many yelpers raved about them. Steak was nicely done. All other items were great including salads and pizza. Turn down the a/c though.

Cheap good food in Disneyworld. Kind of an oxymoron yes? Yes! Well, Woflgang Puck Express is such an oxymoron. At least to California standards. My wife and I killed some time here before our flight and we both got pizza's. Me? I got the Classic Margherita (SP?). She got the mushroom spinach. They both seemed fairly similar but yet tasted so different. Both were very tasty though. The pizza's ran in the mid-teens and the DVC members got a nice little discount which was a pleasant surprise. Even though the the restaurant itself is a counter service restaurant, their servers are VERY helpful in getting you everything/anything you want while you are at your table. I would definitely come here over and over again. Heck, this was my 4th time here. The last time, I got a chicken caesar salad that was in pita bread and that was delicious too! I shouldn't crave any food from a vacation, it makes me want to go back even more. This place is kind of on the craving list. Good, cheap and a pleasant experience. TL:DR - Good Cheap'ish and on property!

For the first few years I was going to Disney World, I didn't even know about this place, as I really didn't get to Downtown Disney in the mornings, and the place was typically busy during lunch and dinner. However, things changed a few years later. The first year I went there during early December for the holidays, the resort I was staying at then (2008) was Port Orleans Riverside. Well, I didn't know that Pop Warner was going on then, so the food court was an absolute mob scene. Then I decided to go to Downtown Disney instead for breakfast. First, I saw Earl of Sandwich, but that place was packed t to the gills. Then, I saw Wolfgang Puck Express. There was only a minimal wait (two families in front of me waiting to order), so I decided to give it a try. On that first visit, I had the breakfast pizza and it was absolutely outstanding. Since then, I have made sure to come here at least once for breakfast every time I come to Disney World. Now, for this most recent trip to Disney World, I ended up eating here for breakfast three times. Not one of those times were there any issues. The food came out to perfection each and every time. The portions are huge, even for breakfast. The server was Maritza G. and she was great. She made sure the drinks were filled and so forth. On all three visits this time, she was our server. This place is categorized as a quick service dining location on the Disney Dining Plan. This place is definitely worth using here and is one of the better values for your overall cost of the plan. I'd consider this place almost a "hybrid" quick service, since you do actually have a server come to your table once you sit down after ordering at the register. For those of you that like sweet tea, they have it here as well. The tea here isn't that "instant" kind that you find at other places around Disney. All in all, this is definitely a hidden gem when it comes to breakfast. Next time you're in the area, be sure to come here. You won't be disappointed. This is my absolute favorite quick service location on Disney property.

Pass. Pizzas were all soupy with too much sauce. "Chinois salad" was bagged cabbage and one sliver of chicken. I don't even want to know how much we paid for that. But: the kids Mac and cheese was huge and really cheesy. May have been the best thing.

Not a huge fan of WP's main restaurant, so I had low expectations going to the Express portion of the restaurant. You basically pay $11 for a cold pre-packaged deli sandwich or sushi. I opted for the cheese pizza as the only vegetarian option. $12 for a big portion. I could only eat half. It was good but the crust was burnt a little, and it was super oily. Pretty standard fare at Downtown Disney.

This was a dinner that started out great but ended with a burnt taste in my mouth. Wolfgang Puck Express is located at the edge of the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney, but it's easily confused with the restaurant located in the West Side section of Downtown Disney (where there is a weird trinity going on) here on Yelp. We started by presenting our Disney Dining Plan which entitled each of us to 1 non-alcoholic beverage, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. We ended up with 2 different kind of juices (not a concern for the purposes of this story), Margherita Pizza, Cavatappi Chicken Alfredo, Creme Brulee, and Vanilla Cheesecake. The Margherita Pizza was excellent. It's become the standard that I use to compare pizzas, and theirs is definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The Alfredo also had good flavor, and the bacon added a wonderful salty punch to the dish, but I wish they had put a lot more alfredo sauce on it. Dessert was where it all went downhill. How sad, huh? Especially when dessert is supposed to be the grand finale. I get that brulee means "burnt" but I really don't think that it was supposed to leave a burnt taste in your mouth after every bite. It's only supposed to be caramelized, not actually burnt. The burn also didn't stay with just the Creme Brulee. The Vanilla glaze on the Cheesecake was also burnt. How does that happen? Next time, I will stick to just the entrees. If I had, this review would've been one star higher.

This was ok, a little pricey. Was disappointed that a Downtown DISNEY restaurant does not include a drink or a dessert with their 8$ mac and cheese KID's meal. The kid's drink is the same price as an adult drink (both lemonades, one half the size of the other). So it turned out quite an expensive mac and cheese. I recommend splitting an adult drink for 2 kids to save some $$. My other son had the most ordinary hamburger ever. Adult meals were ok.

After years of coming here on each family trip, I can't believe how quickly this place has fallen. My daughter's salad showed up 10 minutes after the rest of our meals, after we reminded the "waiter" twice. My BBQ pizza tasted like it had been sitting for hours, the Chinese chicken salad was wilted and equally bad. Creme brûlée was delicious as usual, but was served in disposable aluminum pans as they ran out of the "real" ones. Could have just been an off night, but next time I'll go to Earl of Sandwich.

A great spot for lunch if you're in the Downtown Disney area and need to grab a bite to eat that is good quality, but not a fancy sit-down. My favorite item to order off the menu is definitely the Chinois Chicken Salad - cabbage, crispy wontons, chicken...can you go wrong? I don't think so...

A great place to go eat at in Downtown Disney if you are looking for something to eat but don't have reservations. The quality here is definitely a step above the other quick service restaurants on Disney property so if you are on the quick service dining plan.. COME HERE! The restaurant itself is not bad looking. It feels modern. It is a bit dark in there though so it was somewhat difficult for me to take clear pictures of the food. The mushroom pizza I ordered was pretty delicious although the flan was just OK. I am pretty interested in coming back and trying out their pasta dishes.

This is the best deal for a quick service meal. The inside is clean and minimalist. You order at the counter and are given a number to place on your table. A server then delivers your meal once it's ready. There is a good selection of West Coast style entrees and comfort foods...from pizza, salads, sandwiches, pasta and meatloaf. The servings are large and filling. Oh, and the creme brulee might just be the best I've ever had anywhere! It's not stuffy by any means..just good food and a decent value.

One word, wow! My meal plan called this place a "quick service," place but it's anything but! I ordered the bacon meatloaf wrap and creme brulee. The food was awesome, I loved the sauce that came with my meatloaf. It was finger licking good...literally. =). The portions were huge and I could barely finish my desert cause of it. As for the service, I felt like I was attended to every moment. I felt like royalty.

Came here for a quick lunch today. Totally unimpressed and underwhelmed. My friend did say something about the pizza being good, but I didn't try it and since now my experience wasn't good, I'll never know if it is good or not. I had the butternut squash soup and also the chinois salad. Both dishes were ginormous and we wonder why we have an obesity epidemic. The butternut squash soup was OK, but a bit too creamy for my taste. The chinois salad was a slaw mix, wonton strips, and cashews. Fail. Fail. The wonton strips were extremely oily and the dressing was bland. Sure they gave you a huge portion, but none of it was good. Don't think I'll be back and you should just skip this place. Go next door to Earl of Sandwich, much better and cheaper too!

I wouldn't usually order chicken fingers but these had great flavor and the honey mustard would be an excellent dressing option. I always look forward to eating here when I am in Orlando.

If you are on the Disney Dining plan, this is a little quick service gem. They have much better options then most of the burger/fries quick service joints. There is a comfortable place inside to sit down. The food is very good, the margarita pizza is delicious. If you are on the dining plan, go for the cheesecake (even though I wouldn't pay the listed $6 ) and leave the brownie (not so good).

I like coming here because its convenient and usually quick. I like to stay in hotels in the area (Port Orleans, Buena Vista Palace) this is a good place to grab a bite before shopping. The convenience is really what keeps me coming back, the food is fine although the portions are small and it is quite expensive. My friend's tiny fruit cup was mega bucks. I like being able to eat outside, as long as you have your number the food runners will find you, don't worry. The girl who delivered my food was really nice and I felt like she really cared about our experience. The gentleman who we ordered from however...was half asleep or something. Maybe he couldn't hear what I was saying though since they blast music, plus there's tons of screaming kids in there (a given at Disney). Oh well. I got my soup, it was good, and I was outta there.

How on earth this is considered a quick serve meal on the dining plan is beyond me. The food is top notch and the portions are more than generous. No greasy burgers, lame pizza or basic hot dogs and chicken fingers here. The mac and cheese is amazing! If you are in Downtown Disney and need a quick serve meal this is the place to go. There are two locations and the menu can vary slightly so just check out which menu fits you best. Enjoy!

Best band for your buck if you have counter service dining plan! Great quality food for Disney! I have tried the salmon, spaghetti and pizza and all very good. Dessert can't be beat for its crème brule. Two entrees, 2 desserts and 2 beverages equaled to about $55. Thank goodness for the free dining plan!

I love this fast, counter service restaurant at Downtown Disney. Great pizzas here- especially the BBQ chicken one! And if you love sweet potato fries, this is the place to go. A side order is HUGE and enough to share for 2 people. The salads are good as well. Plenty of seating indoors and out. The line may look long at times but it goes wuick and food does not take long to come out to your table.

Always come to Wolfgang when I'm in Downtown Disney. Prices are not that bad considering the touristic location. 11$ for a pizza that feeds my whole family. Not bad! The pizzas are always great. My sister in law has special ingredient requirements and they accommodated her with no problem...making a Margherita Pizza with just goat cheese tomatoes and parsley. I probably waited 10 minutes for the pizzas. It's my place to come.

Look this place is for express service so it's not fine dining. My experierence was great. Maybe a 10 minute wait in line and another 10 for food. It's Downtown Disney on a holiday weekend (11/27/2010) and we didn't want to wait 30-60 minutes elsewhere to just get in or pay $50+ to tame our munchies. I really liked my food. Very simple but sophisticated. I loved the meatloaf, my niece loved the meatballs, and the rest of my family loved the chicken alfredo. The waiter was generous and great. Don't know his name. A cute blonde guy that had a good personality. Great munchie-taming experience!

Friendly faces, food made to order with fresh ingredients, and a table service meal at a quick service price! We headed to Downtown Disney after running around Walt Disney World that evening. What I love about Wolfgang Puck Express is their pizzas - and how they are big enough to share as an entree with another person. We entered the venue to a short line and was greeted by a very friendly cashier. We inquired about a pizza we had last time, but unfortunately it was only a special and not available at the time. We settled on Butternut Squash soup to start and the Margherita Pizza as our entree (love the mozz on top). As soon as you get your drinks and order number, you are left to the task of finding your own table - which of course it how it goes in the world of quickservice. As soon as you're seated, however, is when the "Wolfgang Puck Express" style of quickservice begins, as one of their dining room staff quickly greets you and places silverware on your table, asking if there is anything you need. Very quickly - as the food is made to order - our "server" delivered our food and a few small plates for the purpose of our sharing. They were attentive to things we needed (an additional spoon for the soup, refills) and truly seemed to want to make sure our experience was good. The Butternut Squash soup had a drizzle of what tasted like marinara sauce in it. It was extremely flavorful and the side of focaccia bread was the perfect dipping duo. The bowl was even enough for us to share without feeling like we didn't get a good portion. The pizza was perfect - it is a lovely thin crust pizza topped with amazingly fresh ingredients. Each bite was a great mix of flavors and completely satisfied! All in all it was another great experience at this Wolfgang Puck Express and I look forward to our next meal!

I am not a big fan of Wolfgang Puck's cafe down the waterfront, but I find his Express a nice place to have a late breakfast like a spinach and artichoke omelet. When I stay at Saratoga, I like to walk over to Downtown Disney to take photos before the crowds arrive. The Express is open at 9 am to late at night. The pizza selection is wonerful but the menu is overpriced. Two great lunch selections are the salads - chicken caesar and Chinois chicken are Wolfgang classics. I also like the fact you order, get a number, and they will find you inside or if you sit outside on a nice day. Beer and wine make this a good adult stop. If you have a lot of kids, the pizza bill may get very high.

The best quick dining on the Disney property. The portion sizes are very large. The pasta dishes looked incredible, as did the salads. We had a pizza and the meatloaf. This isn't your mom's meatloaf either. It's wrapped in crispy bacon and served on a bed of mashed potatoes, and topped with thin crisply onion rings with a port wine sauce. This was one of the best meals I've had on the property. We'll go back to Downtown just to have lunch here.

Oh, Wolfgang, Wolfgang... Last time I checked, you were a CHEF! WTF is up with your menu at these Wolfgang Puck Express places? Sushi? Ceasar Salad? Rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes? Steak Frites? Salmon? Pizza? CHICKEN ALFREDO? (for the love of God!) Overall, the food here was quite tasty. I am just extremely dissapointed with the menu. From a celebrity chef I expect something more creative/inventive. The food here is all good but incredibly predictable and boring. We tried the pumpkin ravioli, BBQ chicken pizza and the roasted salmon. Just OK. Keep in mind that people giving this place 5 stars are doing so because they are comparing it to other options on the Disney dining plan.

Usually, Wolfgang Puck is my go to tourist-trap safe-food. The sandwhiches they serve on the other side of Downtown Disney are (or at least they were 3 years ago) really good. But This WP served me some greasy-but-not-in-a-good way Mac n' Cheese that even when I was fairly intoxicated I could not finish. Problem. I'll probably go back, because, let's face it, it's probably still better than some of the other quickie-options in Downtown Disney, but maybe not so much for a late-night post-concert snack.

Would never ever recommend this place. We were told our wait would be 20 minutes. Almost an hour and a half later, we finally got a table. We would have been fine if we had been told an hour or more to begin with, we would have been able to leave and do something (they gave us a buzzer). But because of the range, and because it was only meant to be 20 min, we just sat there for 90 min with our 3 year old (who was obviously pretty anxious by the time we finally got in there). Then $15 for a small plate of mac and cheese made with super cheap tasting cheese and mix up with our order. Totally awful experience.

I recently discovered Wolfgang Puck Express. I work at Marketplace so this is the only one I've tried, I haven't ventured to West Side to the other Wolfgang Puck. This is one of the more expensive fast service places but in my opinion, the price is worth it! I love their Chicken Strips, they're juicy and crisp and paired with the fries, it's heavenly! The Creme Brulee is amazing! The Chicken Noodle Soup is ehh, not as good as I would expect it to be. And their Mashed Potatoes are creamy and smooth. I hear a lot of good things about their pizza but I haven't had the pleasure of trying it yet.

The menu selection is a little better than the usual Disney counter service food. For example I ordered the 4 cheese pizza with a pesto sauce, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, etc On the dining plan, its a counter service but they bring the food to you :) As a native New Orleanian, I have to mention they sell Abita Andygator(it only comes in approx 32 oz bottle) for 5.95. At home where Abita is locally micro brewed I can never find it for under $10. Its a high alcohol content full bodied beer and its delicious. The only negative I found with this visit was they renovated the inside and now the express only has outdoor seating. It was chilly the night we were there so luckily they had 4 open bar chairs available that look out into the outdoor dining area.(There's 6 chairs total)

spicy shrimp pizza - it was not spicy nor shrimpy, two of us had it and we both left most of it, just not edible. Colleagues seemed to enjoy their salads but I must say they did not look appealing on the plate. Add the manic Disney Server and it was just a bit all disturbing but close to HOB for work. Not good VFM a $17. A rather somber experience for all 5 of us.

First time trying this restaurant (they have one where i live - Houston) I tried the bacon wrapped meatloaf and boy was it yummy. Wife tried the salmon and it was yummy. Their creme brule was ok only. Food came out quickly and service was great...highly recommeded. I will visit the local restaurant soon.

Why only 3 stars?? This place is great! It's the best bang for buck on the Disney dining plan..counting as a quick-service meal. It's actually the only counter service restaurant where you get served your food. =) Get the salmon, and you can thank me later. It was fresh, well-seasoned, and quite delicious, served atop a bed of fresh mixed greens. We got the creme brulee for dessert, and it was yummy and a really good portion size. So a $26 meal = 1 quick service point on the dining plan. Sounds good to me!

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. The best thing is that they have alot of the items from the actual wolfgang puck restaurant, but at a cheaper price. It looks like fast food, but it's pretty much waiter service. The portions are large and you wont walk away hungry. We had the Disney dining plan one year and an employee said we would enjoy this place as it counts as a quick service meal. The food is very good and not expensive. Definetely worth a try!

One of my favorites. Breakfast is just as good as lunch/dinner. Try the waffles or the French toast. The breakfast pocket is the bomb. For lunch, the list of what to try can go on and on. I'm so upset that the WPE at the Mall of America is closed. Now I have to wait for vacation to hit it again!

I've been trying to find eat at a real Wolfgang Puck for years (they keep closing and the express keeps popping up), and I went to the wrong part! I literally just now learned that there are two parts to this restaurant. I ate downstairs and was let down by the menu. I really wish instead of waiting 45 minutes to eat in a cafeteria that did not serve the food I was there for I had known about the difference. The pizza and sushi were both good though. Man... I am such a tourist...

I purchased the Disney Dining Plan and this restaurant was one of the participant. It was almost like a fast food restaurant except the food is not fast food but the service was quick. I ordered chicken pasta, steak, creme brulee and a cheesecake. Food presentation was lacking but the price was very affordable (if you don't use the Dining Plan) for Disney. Server was extremely friendly, which is expected from Disney.

Most reasonable priced place for lunch in downtown Disney for the quality of food you get. This one is right by Sandwich of Earl and we found it to have very fresh food, good number of choices, and great service. Chicken aioli sandwich was full of flavor and one I would get again. The chicken Cesar salad was very fresh with good chicken and great dressing. The pizza kept passing us by and looked very good- we are going to try that next time! Much better choice for the price then Sandwich of Earl or that fast food chicken and rice place (can't remember the name but it is where McDonald's used to be)

Not a bad choice if you're on that end of Downtown Disney and want something quick. Not the cheapest of places, but the pizza I had was decent enough. It was late in the evening and there were no open tables. We had to wait about 10 minutes for one. We were also told it would be a 25 minute wait for pizza. Luckily, it was only about 15.

This review is for the express counter for dinner. I ordered the turkey melt on the suggestion of the man taking my order. We then proceeded outside to the patio area, where each of the chairs were missing screws and about to fall a part. I waited 20 minutes for my sandwich and everyone else got their food. I finally flagged someone down, who went and retrieved my food. The sandwich itself resembled cat food on bread and didn't tast much better. You would expect a more exciting dish by such an impressive restaurant, but this was a no go. I ended up asking for my money back (which I haven't done in forever!) and went home hungry. Try the one on the other side of Downtown Disney as it's much better!

If you're on the Disney dining plan, this is the best quality food you can get for your "quick serve" meal, by far. Food quality was good, I had the chicken alfredo pasta, wife had the salmon, which was good but a bit small. I was more than happy with the self serve soda fountain. If I was paying for the meal (without dining plan), it was $85 for three adults (my daughter is 10) and one child I would have marked down for value (good quality, high price)

Ugh! Some of the food here was really good, but our experience was just awful. The counter service here was more confusing and hectic than your average counter service place. The boyfriend and I came here for dinner on the Disney dining plan, which included entree, beverage, and dessert. When we tried to order dessert, they were out of everything except for oatmeal raisin cookies and frozen yogurt. We went with the frozen yogurt, and the guy at the counter told us to talk to one of the bussers when we were done with our entrees, and they would bring our frozen yogurt to us then. Okay. We ordered all our stuff, found a free table that was covered with crumbs and grease, and put our number on the table. However, when we received our entrees, the busser took our number away. We tried to explain that we still had dessert coming up, but the busser dashed away before we could get a word in. There wasn't any silverware on the table either. After a few minutes of intense staring and waving at bussers who purposely ignored us, the boyfriend took matters into his own hands and hunted down some silverware. We figured we would eat our entrees first, as they were getting cold, and then get the dessert issue straightened out later. I got the beef and gorgonzola pocket - 3 stars. The pita bread was fresh and tasty, and it was stuffed with roast beef (medium! tender!), gorgonzola cheese crumbles, chopped tomato, chopped red onion, and TONS of romaine lettuce. I would say the pocket was 60% romaine lettuce. If I wanted that much lettuce, I would've ordered a freaking salad. On the plus side, my half-head of romaine lettuce was lightly dressed with a caesar-ish dressing - yay for not piling on the dressing. The pocket came with parmesan potato chips - 4-5 stars. Yum!! The boyfriend got some sort of barbecue flatbread that was very cheesy and tasty. Not sure if it's still on the menu though. Right when we finished eating, a busser appeared to take away our plates. It was clear they were ignoring us whenever we had requests but attentive when they wanted to clear a table for incoming diners. We tried to explain that we still had dessert. This took a few minutes for the busser to understand. He then asked us if we wanted any toppings on our frozen yogurt. I asked him what kind of toppings they had. He said, "Cookies." WTF, why did he imply there were multiple types of toppings, and why the heck didn't he say, "Do you want cookie crumbles on your frozen yogurt?" We said sure. A few minutes later, some really melty frozen yogurts arrived, with reject cookie pieces and crumbs dumped on top. It was basically a parfait glass full of what looked like sand and pebbles, with some frozen yogurt peeking through. Upon closer inspection, I found both chocolate chip cookie pieces and oatmeal raisin cookie pieces in my cup. WTF! To add insult to injury, the frozen yogurt was incredibly disgusting. If I were to freeze a mixture of chalk dust, sweet-n-low, and milk, it would probably taste about the same. The chocolate chip cookie pieces were also stale. The oatmeal raisin, however, was decent. After a few bites of this barf parfait, I stopped only to hear the table next to me order four frozen yogurts. I wanted to scream, "DON'T DO IT!" ...but I didn't. Seriously, if you are here on the dining plan, DO NOT get the frozen yogurt. If you are paying out of pocket and want some ice cream, save yourself the $4 and walk to McDonald's for a $1 sundae that will be a thousand times better. And while the bussers seemingly made a point of ignoring us, they were extremely attentive to the table next to us (that would eventually order the four froyos). I'm guessing they assumed that a family of four would be better tippers and that a younger couple, without kids, would be poor tippers. Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Went here with a party of six while on vacation. I must say this review is biased because I adore Wolfgang obviously one of the greats. Its an express set up, you order from a counter and then given a number. We chose a table by the kitchen. (which is an open kitchen). There is somewhat of table service here. They bring your food and check on your drinks. We had a variety of dishes and shared. Spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo, the soup of day (which was a chicken with pasta) macaroni and cheese, a meatloaf sandwich and the butter lettuce salad. The salad was awesome, fresh crisp and lightly dressed, I switched the goat cheese for gorgonzola it was very nice. The meatballs are a close second to Raos in NY. Very very good. It is a Californian style tomato sauce, if you like that ...it is very good. The chicken alfredo not even close I have no idea what that was. Puck you need to fix that dish ..its funky. Mac and cheese delish and the meatloaf sandwich well it was fine, fries that came with very good.The soup was the star fresh stock and vegetables, perfectly seasoned awesome, a home run. Dessert we had cookies, brownies and creme brûlée. The creme brûlée was to die for, better than any restaurant that comes to mind actually. The chocolate chip cookies were devoured very quickly!! The Brownie was dry! A casual experience that was pleasant!

I'm going to give Wolfgang Puck Express one star based on two reasons: 1) I ordered food for takeout, was told to take a seat with my number and it'd be right out. I then watched as three groups of 4-5 people were seated and served while my order for two people remained undelivered. My food was not delivered until I got up and asked the cashier what was going on. 2) The food that we brought back to our hotel after a long day, and a long wait at Wolfgang's wasn't satisfying at all. At best, it was on the same level as a "gourmet" frozen pizza. And while I love me some frozen pizzas, I don't love paying twice their costs or waiting twice as long for them. Bonus reason for one star: my pizza was fairly soggy after the ten minute walk back, so I can only assume that it was just sitting there, forgotten, while I sat waiting patiently.

The meatloaf sandwich was incredible (from the Express area)! I was jealous because it's what my friend ordered. I ordered the spaghetti (Express), which was okay -- but it wasn't as amazing as that meatloaf sandwich. Everything else I've had here has been great. The mac and cheese is delicious; the butternut squash soup is fantastic as well. (Note: in the express and downstairs restaurant, they finish it with a red pepper swirl; upstairs it's with creme fraiche. The upstairs garnish completely changes the dish. It's magical.)

For a quick service restaurant, this is a fresh and tasty way to have a quick meal! Love the Chinois Salad... The food always comes out quickly and is delicious. Others entrees look fantastic and I always drool over the freshly made pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. Don't be afraid of the long line to order as it moves fairly quickly and the food comes out fast. Once your order is placed, you're given a number to place on your table. You then move over the the fountain beverage area, get a beverage, then find a spot to sit in the dining room or outdoor seating area. A runner brings your food to the table and refills your drink for you if you'd like. Although this restaurant is pricier than the other quick service next door, it's a lovely setting and a nice respite from a busy day!

There are two Wolfgang Puck Expresses at Downtown Disney. I have eaten at the Marketplace location several times and have always had an outstanding quick serve meal! The service has alway been great also! Since I was on the West Side of Downtown Disney I decided to eat the WPE at this location. BAD DECISION!! I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. When it arrived at my table I had to take a second look to make sure I wasn't being filmed for some comedy show. (No Cameras). The pizza crust was slightly charred on one side and totally missing the crust on the other!! Someone in the kitchen had cut 1/2 the crust off the pizza because it had burned!!! In the center of the pizza was a 1/2 inch of liquid and uncooked dough!! I couldn't believe it!! If Wolfgang Puck himself knew this restaurant was serving this type of food he would be floored!! My advice...Stick to the Marketplace location and you will be pleased!

I've been to Disneyworld and the Marketplace time after time, but never realized until our trip earlier this year what a hidden gem Wolfgang Puck Express is. Compared to the other quick service options on the Disney Dining Plan, this is THE BEST bang for your buck if you aren't in one of the parks. We visited once for dinner and were blown away. The restaurant may be a quick service set-up, but your meals are brought to the table and are so, so generous. I had the salmon and was blown away. We loved our meal so much, we came back on our final day in Orlando for lunch. We both had the chicken fingers this time (and we were no longer on the dining plan) and I felt the portion size and yummy factor were well worth the money!

Tired of Disney fare, we came in with little expectations. We walked away stuffed and surprised. Went there with 3 other folks, 2 of which are lawyer foodie types, and we were all stunned at the quality of the food. Waking in and ordering from a big board from some high schoolers did not inspire hope. Given this lack of faith, most of us went with some of the pizza's. One brave, and hungry soul, went for a soup and a Creme Brûlée to round it out. That brave soul raved about the soup and dessert. One small taste of the Creme Brûlée had 2 of us back up in front of the smiling high schooler ordering ourselves more food. After individual portions, I can now safely and comfortably report that wood fired pizzas, Creme Brulee and Butternut Squash soups were excellent. We all left pleasantly surprised and satisfied. aside: the happy high schooler mentioned that this particular restaurant was the only one still owned by Wolfgang Puck at Downtown Disney.

All i'm going to say is, the express counter was out of Sushi at main dinner time, the Floor was full of dirty napkins and the staff behind the register didnt care about either, but just pointed to the sushi bar for us to sit down and grab a roll there. This is one of the places that I will eat at Downtown Disney for quick service. The food isn't overly impressive but it isn't bad. I usually only get the pizza and this last time I got a pepperoni pizza. I think it tastes pretty good but it can be lacking on the sauce and it was pretty greasy. The service is usually pretty good and the food is decent. I don't go running here when I'm at Downtown Disney but it's decent if you are hungry. One tip I have is that the kids pizza is about the same size as the regular pizza and there is a drink. ;)

Not cheap - despite it being "express" and seat yourself. I had the curry chicken sandwich (was going for the club, but they couldn't take off the remoulade because the sandwiches are pre-made. (think about that as you wait 20 to 30 minutes for your pre-made food that cost about $25 per person. I also got the tortilla soup. The sandwich was OK. The bread was chewy - because it was pre made sitting in the fridge. The sandwich was served with a few potato chips. The soup was good. I'll probably be back, because there are so few options here.

To me, WPE deserves 2.5 stars, but it gets a Yelp round-up to 3. Come in, order at the counter and have a seat with a number. The servers bring the food to the tables according to the numbers. You can fix your own drink at the soda fountain, which is always a plus for me. They also had Cherry Coke, another plus. I had a rosemary beef focaccia and my wife had a California turkey hero. We both thought they were good. My parents, sister and daughter all got spaghetti. The three adult portions didn't have enough sauce on them. We asked for and received more sauce, but it took a while for that sauce to come out. The pre-portioned creme brulee for desert was alright; a fresh one is much better. Overall, however, I would have rather eaten at Earl of Sandwich just a few steps away.

The pizza here was absolutely amazing. It was the first time I had Wolfgang Puck pizza. I can't tell you about the other items on the menu, but the pizza is good! It was baked just perfectly with a crispy crust, the pizzas are thin and had a lot of flavor to them. I don't remember the exact ones we ordered, but I believe one was the chicken and the other one was a vege one with pesto. We liked it so much, we ordered it again for take out the next day. This is an express location so you order at the counter and then they bring it to you once it is ready. Staff was friendly just like at all the Disney locations, they even found my money on the floor by the register and came to my table to give it back.

Okay so it's over priced...you're at Disney! I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. We've had great experiences every time we've been there. The service has always been excellent even though you order at the counter. The food was pretty good, even the kids meals. I thought the menu was pretty extensive since it's sort of a fast food place. The Beef & Gorgonzola pocket sandwich is excellent and one of our favorites. If you're looking for fast but tasty food, this or Earl of sandwich is your best bet.
